Denial of Service Attack (DoS)

A Denial of Service attack (DoS attack) is an attempt to make a computer system unavailable for the users. DoS attacks generally keep an website, from functioning normally and/or effectively. A DoS is basically accomplished by the attacker using some means to over-saturate the communicate bandwidth of the network or the communication capability of the server(s).
